Angela Shadden, LPTA

Angela Shadden, LPTA

CareAll would like to spotlight Angela Shadden, LPTA, in the Pikeville office who goes above and beyond everyday for her patients and co-workers. It is not unusual for Angela to go grocery shopping for her patients after hours or simply bring them lunch if necessary. She is also well known for baking sugar free birthday cakes for her diabetic patients. She is very committed to her patients as well as her job with CareAll. Her co-workers give her much credit in saying she is a large part of CareAll being known as an exceptional Home Health care agency in Pikeville through physical therapy. Angela is always willing to participate in community events, marketing efforts and anything involving CareAll patients. Mrs. Reynolds, a patient of Angela’s states, “She is a good Christian woman that has helped me feel better than I have in years. She takes the time to listen to my problems or if I just need to talk. I feel better mentally as well as physically after Angela visits.”

Co-worker, Tina Smith sums it up best, “If Angela sounds too good to be true well she is. Pikeville got very lucky and we are blessed to have her on our team.”

Thank you Angela for all you do each and every day, for your patients as well as CareAll.

CareAll Employee Lee Mitchell

CareAll Employee Lee Mitchell

CareAll Employee Lee Mitchell

CareAll would like to spotlight Lee Mitchell with Personal Services for going above and beyond in patient care. Lee is a retired RN who started working some caregiver shifts for CareAll in July of this year. One case that Lee was sent to, the patient had no transportation. Her only family member in Nashville is her son who is disabled and in a wheelchair. The patient’ house is not handicapped accessible, so her son could not come and check on her. The patient had difficulty cooking and had limited herself to one bowl of oatmeal a day. She had also fallen prey to telemarketers and had gotten into some legal trouble by giving out her financial information over the phone. When Lee observed all of this she immediately took action. She first called Meals on Wheels and scheduled them to deliver two meals a day for her patient. Then Lee made an appointment with a medical legal service that specializes in helping seniors with financial issues and accompanied her patient to the appointment. To top it all, Lee took her patient to her physician and had physical therapy set up for her.
Lee really went way beyond her duties as a caregiver. She did all of this without being asked. She saw there were some major issues the first day she was in the home and decided to take charge. Kayna Stephenson,
manager of Personal Services in Nashville stated, “I wish I had twenty more like her. She is quite an asset to our team!” Thank you Lee Mitchell for all that you do, we are very proud you are a part of the CareAll team!
